R-95194**Pacific Disposal**, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a Class B CDL **Shred Truck Driver** to join the team at our Mobile Shredding location in **Lacey, WA.** Previous shred experience would be a huge *plus*!The schedule will be **Monday- Friday**; hours of operation vary depending on the route assigned. Typically, will be a 10-hour day. Must be able to work holidays.Starting pay is **$36.05** per hour.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.* Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.* Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.* Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.* Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.* Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.* A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:* Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 75 pounds.* Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.* The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.* Continuously going into businesses and interacting with clients.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:* Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.* Must be able to pass a background check to be NAID certified, which clears the driver to handle sensitive material and work in state buildings.* Have a clean driving record.* Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.* Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.* 1+ years of face-to-face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at
