Responsibilities
Assist customers, set up, maintain, and clean seafood display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate the seafood displays.
Under direct supervision, provide friendly, courteous, and helpful customer service.
Lift up to 60 pounds and perform other physical tasks such as bending, standing, and stooping for prolonged periods.
Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment and follow visual, auditory, and physical requirements.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
