Summary

Basic warehousing duties and could include operation of multiple lift truck types in both picking and stocking of assorted products. Able to perform duties via manual documents or computerized devices in accordance with established operational and inventory control procedures. All associates will receive training to ensure mastery of specific skill sets with an emphasis on Safety, Accuracy, and Productivity. Pay Class : Full Time Pay : 15.95 - 18.58

Essential Responsibilities

Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility. Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work place environment. Comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, and hand held computerized scanners, personal computers and printing devices. Pack, store and redistribute items in an orderly fashion. Advanced Material Handler Position Assist with training new hires and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Mentor new associates to ensure they are performing accurately and productively. Perform breakage, shortage, special picks and problem solve issues on jobs for the lab. Ability to meet or exceed established production goals within a set deadline consistently. Ability to communicate and escalate with peers and principles. Forklift Operator Position (Endorsement Required) Unload / move pallets, skids, boxes and containers using electric forklift, cherry picker or pallet jack. Move product from one location to another location safely and securely using forklift controls and toggles. Perform routine inspection on the forklift to ensure it is capable of performing the job. (Daily Checklist) Strict adherence of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety harness at all times while on lift truck. VLM Operator Position (Endorsement Required) Comprehensive understanding of picking and stocking documents, labels, and handheld computerized scanners, personal computers and printing devices in the VLM. Properly set up pick carts for Replenishment and SPL Orders. 15. Process Replenishment and SPL Orders for shipping including audits, packing list, dunnage and securing the boxes.

Education

Education:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred

Experience & Background

Three (3) to five (5) years of related distribution experience preferred Proficient with General Warehouse Practices Experience with Warehouse Management Systems Basic problem-solving skills Ability to perform repetitive task for a long period of time Forklift experience preferred and Endorsement Required VLM Endorsement Required

Language Skills

Ability to read English in order to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Mathematical Skills

Mathematical Skills:

General mathematical skills to include basic adding, subtracting, multiplication and division

Reasoning Ability

Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions General problem-solving abilities Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness

Limit weight for lifting, pulling and pushing is no more than 50 pounds. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, requirement is to use two or more people to lift the load. Ability to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends and holidays.
