Assistant Contract Maintenance/QC Manager - Peterson SFB - Colorado Springs, CO Summary The Additional Services Manager is responsible for providing detailed cost estimates for specified projects (labor, equipment, and materials), managing the schedule of work, overseeing in-house/subcontractor personnel, facilitating biweekly coordination meetings, and maintaining proper recordkeeping. In addition, this position assists the Onsite Maintenance Supervisor in all facilities operations and maintenance support. Ensures all contractual obligations are fulfilled, quality standards are met, and associated expectations of performance are achieved. Performs random Quality Control inspections on program work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees daily operations of the RWA workflow process.

Provides support to Onsite Maintenance Supervisor; and provides updates and reports on work status and issues.

Works with supervisors, leads and employees to provide support, information, changes and assistance as needed.

Plans and coordinates work, trains, motivates, monitors and evaluates performance of employees.

Provides cost estimates for projects and tracks work.

Addresses issues that may occur with work of subcontractors.

Reviews and authorizes purchase requests and purchase orders.

Tracks service orders and resolves issues with overdue completion dates.

Responsible for keeping current on government regulations and commercial trends. Monitors contract compliance requirements to ensure compliance with Service Contract Act, Davis Bacon Act and other Federal regulations as required.

Responsible for safety of all personnel on job, including subcontractor personnel, compliance with environmental standards and quality of work performed.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications

Minimum of at least 3 (three) years of recent (within the past 5 years) experience in the management and supervision of Facility Repair & Maintenance operations for multiple facilities.

Bachelor's degree a plus.

Experience in federal government contracting desired.

Must pass OSHA 10-hour safety course.

Familiarity working with RS Means, Building Construction Cost Data, or other appropriate estimating software.

Familiarity using WinEst Estimating System for submitting proposals electronically.

Excellent management and employee relations skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.

Ability to work independently and recommend solutions to problems.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project.

Superior attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while attending to multiple tasks and demands.

This position requires access to a government facility. You must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. A thorough company and US Government background check will be performed.

Communication Must be able to communicate effectively with customer(s), direct and indirect staff, supervisors and office personnel.

A background check and drug screen will be conducted for this position.
