Warehouse Associate – Forklift Operations
Hiring Immediately. Monday – Friday, 7am start time.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position This position is responsible for performing duties associated with merchandise movement: storing, moving, and distributing product using provided equipment. Lead by example and provide some training to other employees.
Essential Functions and Accountabilities
Move and condense merchandise within locations to ensure space efficiency.
Move merchandise to/from show floor; display or rewrap for storage, delivery, customer pickup or shipment.
Use point of sale (POS) system to manage flow and ensure accuracy on customer orders and system records.
Incoming: unload, identify, inspect, tag, and receive; Outgoing: unpack, inspect, assemble and wrap to ensure unblemished arrival.
Lead by example, provide some training to other employees.
Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, vendors; resolve inventory discrepancies and keep management informed.
Promote lean practices; perform other duties as directed by supervisor, including working a different schedule or in a different location.
Grounds and building maintenance; lighting assistance.
Adhere to safety policies and consistently model safe behaviors and risk reduction procedures; avoid damage to equipment/merchandise.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay starting at $17 per hour.
New bonus program: If team quarterly performance metrics are met, employees are eligible for a $500–$750 bonus quarterly.
Monday–Friday: 7am start time.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards).
Basic math and knowledge of tools and hardware components and product assembly.
Valid driver's license required.
Basic computer knowledge required; POS knowledge desirable.
Ability to operate forklift and other moving equipment.
Customer service orientation.
