Inspection & Repair Operator
located in
Salt Lake City, UT . Reporting to the
Engineering Supervisor , the
Inspection & Repair Operator
role supports operations on unscheduled events, works closely to the Process Engineering Team on new projects, and documents daily tasks.
Typical Day
Calibration and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
Installation and modification of workstations.
Create / modify work instructions.
Layout and tooling design.
Support new product introduction activities.
Leading improvement projects.
Monitoring, auditing and providing guidance to line operators.
Processing test runs and preparing records (breakdown events, scrap, etc.), charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
Providing technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Line change configuration.
Experience and Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (electronic components is preferred)
Electro‑mechanical knowledge, electrical schematics, mechanical drawing and dimensional annotation comprehension.
Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of AutoCAD software.
Able to work with and communicate cross functionally with operations, quality and other departments.
Ability to speak and understand English.
