Role Description This full‑time Drill Shaft Operator role is an on‑site position based in Albany, Louisiana. The Drill Shaft Operator will be responsible for safely operating drilling equipment to create foundation shafts and ensuring equipment maintenance. Duties include site inspection, equipment setup and operation, active participation in safety protocols, and collaboration with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
Qualifications
Proficiency in operating and maintaining drilling equipment and ensuring safety during operations.
Experience with inspecting job sites and setting up tools and machinery effectively and accurately.
Understanding of concrete production and construction industry practices, particularly in drill shaft operations.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members to meet project goals.
Familiarity with safety standards and strong adherence to maintaining a safe work environment.
Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Prior experience in concrete pumping, drilling, or related fields is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
