Join our El Super Store Operations Team as a Meat Clerk at Chedraui USA.
Store Location: 640 E. Borondo Rd., Salinas, California, 93906, United States.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service.
Assist customers with product selection.
Maintain cleanliness of shelves and display cases.
Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
Coordinate with customers for special orders and with the Meat Cutter to determine items needing cuts.
Lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Qualifications:
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one-on-one or small group settings to customers and colleagues.
Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50‑60 pounds, bend, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods in a fast-paced grocery environment.
Certification:
Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required.
