Responsibilities
Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
Properly bag groceries for customers when needed; carry out groceries for customers upon request.
Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
Retrieve and maintain store carts, run price checks, assist with go‑backs, assist with check stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
Qualifications
Read and write Spanish and English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
