ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR (FULL‑TIME, NIGHT SHIFT)
Metropolitan Behavioral Health (UHS Facility) – A 144‑bed behavioral health facility providing a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services.
About the Role The Admission Coordinator is responsible for answering the main doors, handling the hospital’s multi‑line phone, verifying patient insurances, obtaining signatures on admitting paperwork, registering patients, and processing all admitting forms. The reception interfaces with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.
Responsibilities
Answer main doors and observe incoming patient admissions.
Operate the multi‑line phone system and verify insurance details.
Obtain signatures on all admitting documentation and complete patient registration.
Process all admitting forms and interface with the Intake Department, patients, and nursing units.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience verifying insurance required.
1 to 3 years of experience as a receptionist, front‑desk clerk or related hospital department required.
Multi‑line phone and computer skills required.
Professional, customer‑service focused individual with strong communication, multitasking and critical‑thinking skills.
Work Hours This in‑person role works 12‑hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.). Overtime, holidays and weekends may be scheduled on a rotation basis.
