Overview
Metal Cutter/Saw Operator – Primus Aerospace, Lakewood, CO. Salary: $20/hr - $24/hr. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting materials according to specifications from prints to support production processes. Responsibilities
Operate cutting machinery and equipment to cut materials as per job requirements. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or diagrams to determine cutting specifications. Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before and after cutting. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Participate in physical inventory cycle and year-end counts. Cut metal efficiently to maximize production. Drive the box truck and move material between the two facilities. Other shipping/receiving warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Metal Cutter/Saw Operator. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and diagrams. Knowledge of cutting machinery and equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or hold heavy pieces of metal in place while cutting and supporting welding. Stamina for long hours on their feet in hot and/or loud conditions. Ability to climb and work from a ladder. Good vision, including color, peripheral, and depth perception. Familiarity with different types of cutting tools and equipment. Additional information
