Overview The Order Selector is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards for safety, security, sanitation and productivity. Other general warehouse duties may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

Loads and unloads freight in an efficient and safe manner.

Moves product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stacks and stores merchandise in the appropriate areas.

Picks orders for shipment and assembles various types of merchandise to be shipped.

Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and confirming shipment of customer orders.

Operates material‑handling equipment safely and efficiently, as required.

Checks and verifies freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation.

Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

Conducts operations in a manner that promotes safety.

Conducts sanitation functions as requested.

Assists in physical inventories as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to stand or walk for up to 10‑12 hours.

Ability to lift or pull 50 lbs without restriction.

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

Ability to walk in the DC and around the area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.

Ability to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and to access all areas of the building without limitations.

Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed by the customer.

Attention to detail.
