Transform the everyday with us The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for a Cycle Counter to join our Protection and Automation Panel Assembly Workshop (PA PAWS) team on 1st shift in Wendell, NC. As a Cycle Counter, you will manage inventory by conducting cycle counts and comparing them to inventory logs and documents using SAP. You will also support warehouse operations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Hours : 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Hourly Rate : $20.36

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment, including inventory control processes

3+ years of experience with forklifts, order pickers and stand‑up

Experience with SAP system, RF scanner devices and MS Office applications

Ability to occasionally lift parts or sub‑assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs

Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

You’ll make an impact by:

Safely operating stand‑up reach trucks, order pickers, and sit‑down forklifts in high‑traffic and narrow aisle areas, performing daily equipment inspections.

Collaborating with peers, factory personnel, and auditors to ensure inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations.

Planning, organizing, and auditing parts/locations; analyzing and resolving discrepancies; and initiating corrective actions when needed.

Reconciling inventory records, maintaining statistical data, and communicating findings effectively.

Serving as backup for employees on leave, working independently with minimal supervision while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Prioritizing safety, maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating high attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working well as part of a team.
