Responsibilities
Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) as listed above (will certify on equipment)
Perform daily checks on equipment prior to operating
Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including hazard recognition, housekeeping, accident and near‑miss reporting, proper use of all safety equipment and procedures and adherence to all safety rules
Report faulty equipment, damage to company property including racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor
Accurately pick/pack orders using established work practices
Restock picking bins
Accurately sort, count and receive all merchandise
Safely move product to and from pallet racks with powered material handling equipment
Safely work with conveyors to accurately build pallets of cartons for shipment
Load/unload trucks
Organize warehouse storage space effectively
Adhere to all safety, quality and production standards
Use a scanner to direct work (pick, pack, receive, move)
Use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; repeatedly reach overhead with hands and arms to accomplish tasks; use hearing to listen for safety hazards and instructions
Safely lift and/or move boxes, product or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Consistently lift, bend, stand, walk, stoop and kneel; occasionally crouch, crawl and climb stairs during an 8‑hour or 10‑hour shift and during extended overtime shifts as needed
Use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception while performing warehouse functions
Work overtime as determined by business needs during the week and/or weekends
Follow instructions quickly, safely and accurately
Work effectively in a team environment
Effectively communicate and understand basic written/oral instructions; read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English
Demonstrate flexibility in daily task assignments and perform other general warehouse tasks as assigned

Occasional work in high places
Exposure to variable temperatures
Exposure to dusty environment
May be exposed to strong scents related to cosmetic or fragrance
May be required to work in narrow aisles or trailers
