Warehouse Associate .
Job Overview Location:
Windsor Locks, CT
Hourly Rate:
$18.00
Schedule:
7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Responsibilities
Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock.
Scanning items into the warehouse management system.
Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages.
Organizing the warehouse space.
Preparing orders for shipment.
Picking orders for shipment.
Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments.
Operating stock‑management tools, including powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks.
Counting stock and maintaining inventory records.
Performing routine cleaning duties.
Co‑operating with management to ensure key objectives are met.
Maintaining safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Accurately follow written and verbal directions.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards.
Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects 10–50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach.
Occasionally required to sit, climb ladders or stairs, or balance.
May be subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
May be required to work in narrow aisles or passageways.
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
Attention to detail.
Great communication skills.
Time‑management skills.
Can work well under pressure.
Can work well with other staff members and supervisors.
Open availability, flexible, and able to work various shifts and overtime.
1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
