Fulfillment Center Operations Supervisor

Location Lenexa, KS
Lead the heart of our Lenexa, KS fulfillment center. You’ll report to the Fulfillment Manager and guide the end‑to‑end fulfillment operation on 2nd shift. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll coordinate product fabrication, order preparation, order collation and packaging, and shipment processing and manifesting—while orchestrating people, workflow, and data to deliver on customer due dates.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 2nd shift (with shift differential)
A Day in the Life As the floor comes alive, you align the team to the production schedule, prioritize orders by customer commitments, and confirm the right work reaches the right stations. You check the accuracy of reporting tools, validate the latest metrics, and adjust staffing in real time to maintain speed and quality. You’re also advancing long‑term improvements—refining workflows, scoping automation for order picking, benchmarking shipping and small‑package options to reduce freight costs for both GSP and our customers, and tracking the department budget.
What you’ll own
Designing and managing a cohesive workflow so orders move accurately, efficiently, and on time
Communicating production schedule priorities and expediting work to meet customer due dates
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of reporting tools
Collecting, analyzing, and reporting performance data daily, weekly, monthly, and annually to drive process improvement
Developing workflow systems and recommending future automated order picking solutions
Benchmarking shipping systems and small‑package carriers to minimize freight expense
Providing clear status updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership
Enabling strong collaboration between Fulfillment and other departments
Defining, communicating, and enforcing department policies and procedures
Hiring, scheduling, and developing the Fulfillment Services team based on workload and customer needs
Establishing and monitoring new‑hire and ongoing training for the department
Tracking and contributing to department budget development
