SALARY:
Per 2654 Contract; $17.59 to $19.41 per hour based on experience
Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Highly proficient in school computer software (i.e., MS Office, AS400, PowerSchool, School Dude, Google Suite).
Outstanding organizational skills.
Demonstrated good judgment and initiative. Adept at bringing calm to situations.
Ability to work under stress, meet deadlines, and handle urgent situations as needed.
Ability to prioritize tasks; work with little supervision, and be a productive member of a team.
Ability to work well with students, parents, staff, district employees, and external agencies.
Familiar with and follow FERPA and HIPPA laws.
Knowledge of general office procedures, office related equipment and computer software.
Previous work experience in an elementary school setting preferred.
Responsibilities And Duties Include
Assists students, parents, teachers, administrators, and staff as needed.
Assist with testing programs as directed, i.e., monitoring, checking, gridding, distributing, and inventory, and packaging of materials.
Administer medication to students as needed.
Oversees student enrollment and registration processes to ensure accurate and compliant student records.
Maintains student records by updating attendance, lunch counts, organizing documentation, and ensuring data accuracy in district systems.
Documents and tracks parent and guardian communication to support compliance and effective school–family partnerships.
Creates and distributes school flyers and communications to ensure timely and consistent information sharing.
Supports incident documentation and compliance by organizing reports and maintaining confidentiality.
Serves as a member of the school’s emergency, crisis, and medical response team to support student health and safety.
Provides general front‑office operations support to ensure smooth daily school functioning.
Processes purchase orders, inventories, organizes, and distributes school materials and supplies to support daily operations and instructional needs.
Supports the planning, preparation, and logistical coordination of school events to ensure smooth and successful implementation.
Performs other duties as assigned by the principal.
