Job Title: Selector
Pay Rate/Range: $19.00 to $20.00
Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. M-F
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 7 months
Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Operate electric pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and order pickers (cherry pickers) safely
Select correct products from warehouse racking to fulfill customer orders
Use RF units to create and apply product labels accurately
Build pallets according to proper selecting procedures (e.g., no heavy-on-light stacking, labels facing outward)
Stage pallets at designated dock locations for loading
Stretch-wrap palletized orders on the loading dock
Maintain and safely operate assigned equipment, including pallet jacks, RF units, forklifts, order pickers, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment
Hand-select orders in warehouse environments with fluctuating temperatures
Assist with level changes to racking systems and support re-racking projects as needed
Work Schedule
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Days: Monday – Friday
Overtime may be required, including holidays and weekends, until all products are accurately selected and loaded
Required Skills and Abilities
Ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established by engineered production standards
Ability to work rapidly at a consistent pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment
Ability to meet or exceed established cases-per-error performance goals
Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of product placement and inventory control procedures
