Responsibilities
Executes TD's Brand promise to customers by consistently delivering a Legendary Customer experience in the Store.
Performs customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently.
Processes cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy.
Responds to and resolves customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary.
Engages in lobby leadership by guiding customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and directing appropriately.
Understands customer banking preferences and educates customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs.
Acts as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations; offers financial & digital solutions, and/or refers to an appropriate partner for solutions.
Makes sound decisions and provides timely problem resolution, escalating more difficult issues to management.
Ensures compliance with company guidelines and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act) to minimize risk and protect customers.
Verifies customers' identities by following authentication policies & procedures.
Balances cash drawers, ATMs, and Teller Cash Dispensers (TCDs)/Teller Cash Recyclers (TCRs) as necessary.
Adheres to safe deposit box procedures and operations; responsible for cash drawers and vaults and maintaining appropriate cash limits.
Maintains the confidentiality of customer information and follows dual control.
Follows all security and audit measures to minimize potential loss and uses bank tools to detect, address, and prevent fraud.
Completes all required in-classroom and online training by established due dates.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6 months work-related experience preferred; or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience
Ability to work during operating hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled
Demonstrated customer service skills preferred
Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear and consistent
