Position: Label Machine Operator - 1st Shift. Company: Vestcom. Shift: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Wednesday, Sunday.

Responsibilities
Operate label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Minimize waste or misuse of raw materials.
Communicate label production issues with the Production Supervisor and/or Facility Manager.
Perform distribution functions as needed.
Keep accurate logs of raw materials used in the production of labels and record date and ID number of cartons of product to maintain FIFO inventory and identify QC problems.
Use ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
Maintain all dies.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, use required PPE, and follow all safety rules and procedures.
May be required to work overtime or on another shift as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is essential.
Compliance with applicable company policies including a drug‑free workplace, safety policies, and all company policies.
Qualifications Physical Demands
Stand 2/3 to full time on the shift daily.
Use hands and fingers to handle, and feel 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
Reach with hands and arms 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
Lift 50 pounds 1/3 to 2/3 of the shift daily.
Require close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
Additional Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
One to two years related experience and/or training.
Strong mechanical skills to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
Ability to embody Vestcom’s core values.
