Job Summary The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assisting in the wiring and assembly operations on a variety of sub-assemblies and electrical panels.
Responsibilities
Reads and follows entry-level blueprints, shop orders, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and timely.
Layouts pushbutton stations, assembles and wires.
Layouts panels, drills, taps, and assembles components.
Layouts and assembles control panels.
Performs basic motor wiring.
Assembles and wires electric components.
Operates material handling equipment.
Travel (preferred).
Utilizes overhead crane and rigging procedures.
Maintains a clean work area.
Locates parts, stocks parts, deburrs, and maintains workspace cleanliness.
Participates in department clean up and improvement projects.
Qualifications
High school diploma equivalent.
Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric system conversions.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to drive a forklift (preferred).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to navigate CAD documents (preferred).
Ability to multi-task.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to collaborate with others to proactively develop solutions.
Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
Ability to travel internationally and domestically (preferred).
Physical Requirements Protective clothing required: safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection while performing duties of this position.
