Position : Structures Installation Mechanic 4D Responsibilities
Assemble and install parts and assemblies to quality requirements by working with blueprints, changes, specifications, work orders, etc. Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression. Set up and perform all manual and automated assembly operations, and portable machine functions required to accomplish assignments. Perform required pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing or checks during or after final assembly and/or assembly progression. Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies as needed. Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish work assignments. Report and/or investigate job handicaps such as errors in parts, assembly procedures, tools, sequences, etc. Perform routine minor machine maintenance as part of daily duties where applicable (e.g., replacing machine filters, changing standard light bulbs, maintaining lubrication/coolant levels) as related to basic Total Preventative Maintenance. Routinely move product within the manufacturing area, including across aisles, using shop-assigned equipment, and complete transactions to move product to the next operation. On occasion, move product within a building to the next operation. Support the continuous flow of product by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all classification levels. Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure. Cross-train in inspection and become SIA qualified. Qualifications
Experience as Sealers for wing box panels and fuel cell sealing; sealing experience should be visible on the resume. Avoid submitting candidates without sealing experience. 5 to 10 years of experience required. Primary work on 2nd Shift; must be comfortable with any shift assigned per business need. Must be comfortable working on weekends.
