Job Description This position is reserved for employees that are dedicated to step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized forklift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Keep lines stocked with packaging materials

Fill out appropriate paper related to the lines CCP's, production, packaging materials

Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment

Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line

Communicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues

Communicate with supervisor when equipment needs attention

Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line

Proper start up, running and shut down of line

Basic Ammonia Operation

Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process

Understand and perform basic tasks as needed within the M3 inventory system

Basic Votator/Perfector operation

Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers

Qualifications Competencies:

Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teams

Learn and follow written rules and procedures

Produce accurate documentation

Maintain acceptable attendance

Must be willing and able to learn various positions

Must fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacancies

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent -

REQUIRED & VERIFIED

Related Experience:

Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Equipment/Software Skills:

Basic computer knowledge - data entry

Physical:

Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined
