Cadrex is searching for a CNC Operator I who will operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications to produce small to medium sized components as either a finished product or as part of another larger product to be assembled.
Key Responsibilities
Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes.
Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices.
Operates hand‑held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools.
Operates lift equipment as needed.
Uses precision measuring tools as required.
Recognizes various material types used in the department and adjusts equipment if needed.
Recognizes worn tooling and changes machine settings as required.
Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspections.
Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in‑process or carbon copy production sheets.
Preferred Qualifications
Basic understanding of machining principles and CNC machine operations.
Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in CNC machining.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend shifts as required.
Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Education
High school diploma.

Onsite.
Schedule
S‑Th; 11:00 pm – 7:30 am.
Work Environment
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, vibration, and moderate noise levels which may require hearing protection.
Physical Demands
Requires standing, sitting, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling, and speaking or hearing; occasional climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
