Assembler
Engage in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy‑industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves mechanical assembly, working with sheet metal, and assembling metal enclosures for the systems.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using hand and power tools.
Work with sheet metal to assemble metal enclosures.
Interpret and assemble units based on blueprints.
Assemble some units inside, which are approximately 8 ft. tall.
Essential Skills
Experience with hand and power tools is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus, but not required.
Proficiency in using a tape measure is mandatory.
Physical ability to stand for the entire shift and lift 50+ pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior manufacturing assembly experience is preferred.
Comfortable with general labor tasks and mechanical assembly.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
