Position Summary

Completes Sub-Assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering and quality specifications. Responsibilities

Perform sub-assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions Follow supervisors’ instructions on work to be performed Inspect, operate, and test completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specifications Clean and lubricate parts and assemblies Maintain personal tool inventory Maintain a clean and orderly work area based on quality goals Use a computer to record assembly status Follow safety instructions and rules Work overtime and assigned shifts as needed Comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures Ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction Education and Experience Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements

Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints Basic computer knowledge Basic mathematical knowledge, including decimal and fractional equations Knowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power tools Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques Good verbal communication skills Self-motivated and detail-oriented Team orientation Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English ADA Requirements
