Description We are hiring immediately for a Flight Mechanic – A&P.

What you will be doing as a Flight Mechanic – A&P:

Install & Assemble: Install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components as needed.

System Checks: Perform functional checks on mechanical systems such as engines, flight controls, fuel, oxygen, and hydraulics, making necessary adjustments for flight.

Instrument & Engine Testing: Set instruments, test run engines, rig and synchronize throttles, and set stops.

Flight Test Support: Address flight test and inspection issues, making necessary adjustments or corrections.

Assist & Guide: Assist senior mechanics with complex problems, guide and instruct lower classification mechanics.

Aircraft Taxiing: Taxi aircraft to check systems and components using various mechanic hand tools and equipment.

Qualifications

A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required.

An A&P license is required.

Three (3) years of experience in diversified jet, turboprop or piston maintenance, phase inspection, engine troubleshooting, or servicing under the guidance of a licensed A&P or at an FAA certified repair station is required.

A knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is needed.

Equivalent trades training for using arithmetic, blueprints, specifications, check lists, measuring instruments, testing devices, and following general instructions is needed.

Ability to work in somewhat disagreeable work conditions due to exposure to noise, weather, hydraulic fluid, MEK, alcohol and other liquids is needed.
