Location: Meyer Orthopedic Surgical Center, 3535 S National Ave, Springfield, Missouri, 65807.
Shift: Evening Shift (4:00 PM – 11:30 PM), 40 hours per week.

Job Description Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for proficient maintenance related to HVAC and mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing, and safety inspections. Performs preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under general supervision. Responds to work requests timely and professionally and completes work assignments. This position is responsible for the installation and replacement of various maintenance related equipment and structures. The Maintenance Mechanic III may be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary and approved by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Education
– High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred: Trade School in the mechanical fields)
Experience
– 3-5 years of experience related to maintenance/mechanical.
Skills
– Proficient communication skills; ability to prioritize workload; ability to find solutions to equipment malfunctions and initiate necessary repairs; knowledge of safe operation of all tools; knowledge of regulatory requirements for fire alarm, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems and building repairs; technical skills for general maintenance of interior finishes, millwork, doors, plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, ventilation, medical gas, refrigeration units, air compressors, air handlers, chilled water pumps, hanging mirrors, furniture repair, and refinish.
Licensure/Certification
– Active Driver's License; STI Fire Stop Certified within 1 year of hire (provided by Cox yearly if not already certified); Preferred: MEP Certification, Refrigeration or Welding Certification, Operation of a forklift.
