Position Overview
Grade: 4
Assembler/Fitter/Installer will perform a wide variety of tasks in a large yacht manufacturing facility. Assembly tasks may include gunking, glassing, assembling, fitting and installing.
Essential Functions
Responsible for installing cabinets, floors, cockpits, benches and any other installation tasks as assigned
Install the front of the line interior work with emphasis on the final finish elements and cosmetic aspects of the boat
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
3+ years of boat building experience
Fitting / Installing experience
Working knowledge of hand tools
Ability to lift heavy objects
Ability to Multi‑Task
Ability to read and understand prints and production schedules
Ability to work with suspended loads and heavy lifting
Working Conditions
Must always possess desire and ambition to work safely and report all hazards to supervisor immediately.
Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP, and other regulatory agencies.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment when designated.
Must be able to physically handle requirements of job, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, standing, etc., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Salary and Benefits Pay range: $20.80 to $23.35 per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
