Job Title: Journeyman Plumber (Residential Service Technician) Location: 1005 Jeffries Rd, Osage Beach, MO, 65065 Company: Honest Abe's Home Services Employment Type: Full-Time Key Responsibilities
Installation & Repair: Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, faucets, toilets, sewer lines, drain systems, and more. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve plumbing-related issues; provide expert recommendations to customers. Customer Service: Interact professionally with homeowners to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction. Apprentice Responsibilities: For apprentice-level technicians, work alongside seasoned plumbers to develop skills, complete training, and gain hands-on experience while adhering to safety standards. Code Compliance: Ensure work complies with local plumbing codes and regulations; maintain high safety standards. Documentation: Complete service orders, record work performed, and maintain accurate records. Prepare estimates and proposals for clients when needed. Team Collaboration: Work with team members and assist in training junior technicians as you progress in your career. Continual Learning: Commit to ongoing development of plumbing skills and knowledge through training, workshops, and industry certifications. Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal plumbing apprenticeship program is required. Licensure: Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. A valid Missouri plumbing license is required. Experience: Journeyman: 2+ years of residential plumbing experience. Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage time effectively; proficient with plumbing tools and technology. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks as needed. Benefits
