You'll be the go-to expert for mechanical troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and equipment optimization. Pay: $40.05hr Training Shift: Monday-Friday first 90 days 7am-3:30pm After Training Schedule: 3 Days on 3 Days off - you will be awarded either night or days shift based upon seniority after training. Participate in safety and good housekeeping programs. Adhere to environmental regulations and respond to emergencies safely. Install, fabricate, repair, and maintain equipment and machinery. Utilize diagrams, sketches, manuals, and engineering drawings for tasks. Perform carpentry, plumbing, and work with power and hand tools. Install and repair locks, door closers, and related hardware. Insulate pipes, ducts, furnaces, tanks, ovens, walls, and ceilings. Erect and work from rigging, scaffolding, and ladders. Maintain and repair auto equipment and internal combustion machines. Perform electric arc and acetylene welding and cutting. Lead, assist, and train Mechanic apprentices. Inspect wells and take water samples. Assemble or rebuild equipment and parts. Perform duties of a Sheet Metal Worker and operate machine shop equipment. Skills and Abilities
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Understand verbal and written instructions. Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment. Basic mathematical skills. Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver's license. Computer and Software Competencies
Learn the SAP system for parts requests. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. 3-4 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or Millwright. Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US. Must be 18 years or older. Must be drug and alcohol-free. Ability to secure and maintain a forklift driver's license. Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Exposure to temperature extremes and noise levels. Prolonged sitting or standing for 8-hour shifts (and/or rotating shifts). Bending, twisting, handling, and controlling objects, tools, or controls. Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds. Regular attendance on-site and ability to work varying or rotating shifts. Wearing respirator protection. Participation in safety and good housekeeping programs.
