Full‑time Early Preschool (2‑to‑3 yr old) teacher position. Classroom teacher‑child ratio 1:8. Immediate opening.

Qualifications
Must be fully vaccinated.
12 core unit classes with a grade of C or better are required (child development, child‑family‑community, curriculum).
Work experience in a licensed childcare facility as a teacher.
Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality.
Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening, fingerprinting and background check.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. when handling children (programs, safety, emergencies).
Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage daily functions for a class of children.
Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Create an attractive, well‑kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision‑making.
Maintain current classroom bulletin boards and provide parents with an overview of material taught.
Take responsibility for maintenance and housekeeping of classroom, common areas, and playgrounds.
Assist and coordinate snacks, meals, naptime, and bathroom activities.
Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the Director.
Observe all rules and regulations about the health, safety, and care of children.
Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times.
Plan with the Education Coach and implement approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum and materials.
Plan with the Director all required parent‑teacher conferences and student evaluations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Use iPad to log children's daily activities, write incident reports, and send messages to parents.
The ideal teacher is warm‑hearted, playful, engaging, and attentive. A keen focus on verbal learning and potty training support is desired. Must collaborate and connect with parents.
