Essential Functions
Read, learn, and apply the laws, ordinances, policies, rules, and other materials required to perform all assigned accountabilities of the position.
Maintain order, enforce state laws and city ordinances, and protect life and property.
Assist in investigating and/or preventing criminal offenses, accidents, and other problem areas.
Apprehend and control offenders.
Respond to medical emergencies and apply appropriate first aid and/or CPR.
Prepare reports that include facts, analysis, and recommendations for action.
Testify in court.
Monitor areas of the city and traffic.
