Responsibilities
Perform inspection, testing and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre‑Action, and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA and Department of Health regulations. Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections. Perform routine inspections, testing, and service of life safety product lines and similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. Work with low‑voltage wiring and associated devices for the operation of low‑voltage equipment. Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding via laptops or hard copy. Input, retrieve, and archive inspection documentation using laptop computers. Make minor repairs and programming changes under authorized supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
4 or more years of documented experience in sprinkler system inspections. NICET certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 months. Ability to pass a drug and background check. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by national, state, and local codes. Experience/knowledge troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs. Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment/tools up to 70 lbs. Willingness to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements. Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Adhere to and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Experience with hand tools and multimeter usage. Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes. Experience with wet, dry, pre‑action, deluge, and foam systems. Backflow certification. Hiring Hourly Range
