Math Teacher – Fusion Academy
Fusion Academy, Burlington is a fully accredited 1‑to‑1 private school for grades 6–12. As a Math Teacher, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. This part‑time position can grow into full‑time contingent on student enrollment.
Pay Rate $28.50 per hour USD
What You’ll Do
Teach in a truly personalized way—one student at a time.
Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner’s needs.
Mentor each student and support their social‑emotional growth.
Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.

Keep student records accurate and organized.

What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of math courses (Basic, Pre‑Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Integrated, Pre‑Calculus, Trigonometry, Statistics, Business & Consumer Math, and Calculus), following content standards—curriculum and resources provided.
Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
Mentoring experience and a passion for social‑emotional learning.
Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student‑centered environment.
Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
A growth mindset with flexibility to pivot and problem‑solve as needed.
