Summary We are seeking an experienced Concrete Laboratory Technician to join our laboratory team. This role is ideal for a field concrete technician looking to transition into a laboratory‑based position with regular hours, a controlled work environment, and opportunities for long‑term career growth.
The successful candidate will perform routine and advanced testing of concrete and aggregates in accordance with ASTM, ACI, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory testing of fresh and hardened concrete
Prepare, cast, cure, and test concrete specimens
Conduct materials testing per ASTM / ACI standards
Record and report test results accurately
Maintain lab equipment and follow safety and QA/QC procedures
Required Qualifications and Experience
Experience as a concrete field or lab technician
Knowledge of ASTM and ACI test methods
Strong attention to detail and reliability
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
Preferred Certifications
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
ACI Strength Testing Technician
Other relevant ACI, ASTM, or materials testing certifications
Knowledge of ForneyVault
