$81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local EHS regulations and company policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems and programs.
Conduct EHS risk assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and implement control measures.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Develop and deliver EHS training programs to all levels of employees.
Perform regular EHS inspections and internal audits to identify hazards and ensure continuous improvement.
Manage hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental permits and compliance activities.
Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.) and industry best practices.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar.
Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations, conduct risk assessments, and develop effective corrective actions.
Bonus Qualifications
Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies applied to EHS processes.
Proficiency in EHS management information systems (EMIS) and data analytics for trend identification.
Bilingual proficiency, especially Spanish, to support a diverse workforce.
