What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Deliver comprehensive training programs for new sales representatives, covering product knowledge and consultative selling strategies
Facilitate classroom sessions, virtual learning, and hands-on training to enhance technical proficiency
Accompany new hires on customer visits to demonstrate best practices in surgeon engagement
Monitor new hire performance and create individualized development plans to support their success
Collaborate with Sales Leadership to align training with business objectives and track performance metrics
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor\'s degree (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical sales or ophthalmology
Strong presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel extensively for training and field support
Mastery of cataract surgical workflow and advanced IOL technologies
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience mentoring or training sales professionals
Familiarity with cataract surgery and operating room protocols
Proven ability to build trust and motivate new team members
