Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Assistant Plant Manager will oversee all aspects of day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production and adherence to quality standards.
Essential Functions
Assist the Plant Manager in organizing and managing day‑to‑day production activities.
Manage a team of workers to meet daily production goals.
Lead and develop the workforce through training and performance management.
Coordinate with the Plant Manager to resolve production issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Supervise operations to meet production requirements efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Minimum 5 years in a construction or manufacturing environment.
Proper training on the operation and safety of electric and power tools, air compressors, and nail guns.
Ability to read blueprints.
Pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
Basic tools available (tape measure, hammer, etc.).
Physical Demands
Lift, move, or handle parts up to 30 pounds consistently.
Perform occasional lifts up to 50 pounds.
Stand for up to 4 hours at a time.
