Job Summary Oversees all à la carte Food and Beverage operations, including restaurant, room service, and lounge. Responsibilities include greeting and escorting guests to tables, supervising staff, and maintaining a courteous and efficient operation to deliver quality products and service to restaurant customers.

Essential Job Functions

Assist the Restaurant Manager/F&B Director in interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, counseling and disciplining restaurant staff.

Maintain outlet scheduling and payroll.

Organize and conduct pre‑shift and departmental meetings communicating pertinent information such as house count, daily specials, promotions, and menu changes.

Meet and greet guests, escort them to their table, and present menus.

Answer telephones in a clear voice and coordinate reservations.

Maintain communication with all departments and attend relevant meetings.

Assist in marketing efforts of restaurants, create menus, survey competition, and report food trends.

Monitor product quality and guest satisfaction; ensure consistent food quality and obtain feedback on service and food.

Maintain profitability of the outlet by controlling payroll and equipment costs.

Calculate inventory, reorder supplies, and maintain par stock levels.

Ensure equipment is maintained, call for repairs, and train staff on proper use.

Support other Food and Beverage areas when necessary and handle special projects.

Assign and assist with cleaning duties.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety and security rules.

Provide a safe work environment and report any unsafe conditions to the manager.

Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance.

Perform any related duties as requested by the manager.

Assist other restaurant personnel when needed.

Qualifications

Comprehensive knowledge of Food outlet operations, service techniques, and guest interaction.

Familiarity with all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations.

Current Food Handler Card and TABC license (or in the process of being certified).

Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations during busy periods.

Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.

Basic English language proficiency.

Ability to apply written product labeling instructions safely.

Ability to remember, recite, and promote the menu.

Ability to operate beverage equipment such as a coffee maker.

Physical Demands

Transport at least 50 lbs continuously throughout the shift.

Lifting at least 50 lbs.

Constant standing & walking required.

Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, speaking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
