Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift (Electrical/Mechanical) (BSA-1, Montgomery, AL)

SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventative maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. The Maintenance Technician will be involved with basis mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure operation of machinery.
Communicates with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance and troubleshooting work in production areas.
Responsible for keeping records of all preventative maintenance and troubleshooting works.
Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment following all safety requirements.
Prepare and maintains maintenance related documents; daily reports, check sheets, preventative maintenance documents. Other equipment maintenance and repair tasks as assigned. All other duties assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.
Required Education & Experience:
Mechatronics Technical Diploma
A high school graduate and 5 more years in maintenance experience
A technical College degree and 3 more years in maintenance experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Understanding of Production and Processing equipment
3-7 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience preferred, but not required.
Basic Mechanical and Electrical knowledge with some experience with PLC is preferred.
Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to achieve team goals and targets.
Good computer, Troubleshooting, Problem-Solving, Critical thinking skills
Ability to use Microsoft office.
Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
Some knowledge of Robots
Some knowledge of Auto CAD
Ability to draw concept layout and to write specification of equipment for purchasing facilities, jigs, workstation, line side rack and etc.
Research and request quotations from suppliers (equipment, tool, fixtures, purchased components, etc.) Other tasks as assigned.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Educated and experience of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for documentation
Excellent people skills to include collaboration in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment. Outstanding work ethic and commitment to organizational success

Working Conditions :
100% on production floor
Traversing production floor
Use of protective equipment, devices, and clothing
Ascending/Descending ladders
Lifting 40-50 lbs
Possible international travel to Headquarters
Domestic travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites as needed.
Overtime and weekend work as needed
