UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24‑hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
Assists skilled maintenance workers.
May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry and plumbing.
Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients and co‑employees while performing duties.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One (1) year of general mechanic or building maintenance experience required.
