Job Description Job Overview Job Shop in need of a Manual Machinist (NOT CNC)
Mills, Lathes, Surface Grinders, Boring Mills, VTL
Duties
Operate and monitor machine tools to produce precision metal parts
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Adjust machine settings for optimal performance
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Perform routine maintenance on machinery
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles - Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
Forklift operation experience is a plus
Ability to use bore gauges for precise measurements
