Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers. This role will be an integral part of the manufacturing team. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through performing fabrication work for Aeronautical Accessories’ manufacturing department under general supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform basic window and plastic fabrication under supervision

Assist with 1st piece inspection and completion of work orders

Identify and record parts and serial numbers for plastics and windows

Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area

Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

0-2 years of experience related to job duties

Familiarity with basic measuring devices

Ability to use basic hand tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and work orders

Ability to learn and apply Measurements, Sheet Metal (Rivets), Torque, Safety Wire, Cotter Pins, Proseal application

Physical Requirements

Ability to wear all required PPE specific to job duties (may include respiratory equipment)

Ability to operate basic hand tools and departmental equipment safely and efficiently in order to perform assigned job duties

Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds

Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift

Ability to operate computer, to include keyboard, mouse, and software related to job duties

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools

Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks

Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues

Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed

Ability to work in environment with exposure to various chemicals, dust and odors, and various machine heat cycle
