Pay range:
$34-$40/hr Monday-Friday 9:30am-8pm $2/hr shift premium from 4pm on Location:
Rock Island, IL Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance electrician. Our technicians are highly proficientinelectrical maintenanceandtroubleshooting. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day: Troubleshootusingelectrical schematics andmultimeter/meggertodiagnoseelectrical issues Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resistersandvarious other electrical components Familiar withtroubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley,AB Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks Test malfunctioning machinery,identifyparts needed and complete repairs Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans whichinvolvesworking at heights, climbingladdersand using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.). Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks asrequiredtomaintainequipment dependability. Maintain a clean,sanitaryand safe work area. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities
2 + years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Electricianor relevant field. ProficientElectrical skills Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components Read andcomprehendschematics and diagrams. Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes Collaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.
