Q3 Contracting (Q3C), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, is a publicly owned and operated construction contracting company that provides both specific and turnkey services for its customers in the gas, oil, electric and telecommunications industry. We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
We are actively hiring an Operations Support Supervisor at our Commerce City, Colorado office. The Supervisor will oversee the administrative functions within the utility and gas operation divisions, ensuring the efficient and effective support of daily operations. The Supervisor will also be responsible for implementing best practices in administrative operations, maintaining records, and preparing reports to facilitate decision-making.
After training is complete, the work schedule for this position will be required to work at our Commerce City office 3 to 4 days per week with 1 to 2 days remote. There is a possibility for this position to require travel to our Dove Valley, Colorado office as our team continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently and effectively manage and coordinate assigned work volumes for contracts assigned
Responsible for the quality of work done on the job, assuring that all work performed by the crew(s) meets our quality standards and requirements
Build and maintain customer relations, continuously working to resolve their concerns or requests
Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and that the work adheres to construction schedules
Perform continuous on-site safety and quality inspections
Work to resolve complaints and grievances with the workforce as needed documenting the problems and resolution
Schedule equipment to achieve maximum utilization and minimize the need for rentals
Determine the sequence and manner in which work will be carried out, consistent with established customer requirements and internal processes and procedures
Ensure all work performed by employee and contractors' meets the highest standards of quality workmanship as defined by the customer and/or the company, whichever is greater
Cooperate with other Area Supervisors or Area Managers in transferring equipment, materials and workers among projects
Communicate and cooperate with the Contract inspector, Area Supervisor, Area Manager, General Manager, Operations, Human Resources and Safety Manager on job details and requirements
Provide a safe working environment for the crews by following and administering the Company Safety Program. Document and ensure corrective measures are implemented, where applicable
Communicate any problems/concerns to the Area Manager
Actively communicate with crews, Foremen, and Area Supervisor as required
Actively communicate and handle contract complaints to resolution

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Post secondary training in construction or engineering

Compensation and Benefits:
$75,000 - $90,000/year, depending on experience
