Location: 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City, near the Paycom Center, the Oklahoma Convention Center, and across the street from Scissortail Park.
The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (RareBird Gift Shop). Guests can enjoy Mokara Spa, a fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (CatBird Seat) with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas. The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space including a 20,000 square foot ballroom, a 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre-function space overlooking the park.

As an
Expeditor (Expo)
at OKC Tap House, you’ll be the essential bridge between our kitchen and service teams. You’ll ensure that every dish is served hot, fresh, and flawlessly presented—especially during the high energy of game days and weekends. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in attention to detail, and enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Act as the liaison between kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
Inspect each dish for quality, consistency, correct garnish, and plating before leaving the kitchen
Maintain a clean and organized expo line throughout the shift
Stock all to-go items, condiments, and garnishes used on the line and by service staff (ranch, ketchup, pickles, etc.)
Prepare and refill house-made BBQ sauces, parmesan cheese, red pepper shakers, and other items as part of weekly prep duties
Assist in the preparation of all plated desserts
Communicate effectively with cooks and servers to handle special requests, dietary modifications, or delays
Adapt to last-minute changes and assist with additional back-of-house or front-of-house tasks as needed
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are always followed
Qualifications
Prior experience as an expo, line cook, food runner, or similar kitchen support role
Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment—especially during peak times and major sporting events
A proactive attitude and willingness to step in wherever needed
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry moderate weight (50 lbs)
Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time, with frequent bending and twisting
Flexible scheduling to include mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have an unexpired Food Handlers’ certification
