Overview
TITLE:
Sr. 1 Maintenance Technician
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Perform duties required to maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment and multi-lane bag machines with auto pak equipment. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in mechanical and electrical-related fields.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year's mechanical and/or electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment or equivalent
Ability to work shift work, weekends and 12-hour shifts (day and night)
High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate nonstandard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interaction
Job Duties
Perform complex duties required to install, maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment, multi-lane bag machines with Auto Pak equipment and related machinery.
Perform preventative maintenance on extruders and bag machines according to close specifications and standardized procedures.
Able to switch over the process air.
CPR training.
Overhaul born binders mech.
Overhaul born binders electrical.
Trained to lift an autopak.
Trained to lift a winder.
Change winder linear bearings.
Repair rail car unloader equipment.
Make guards, abs, Lexan.
Fire pumps training.
Resin system troubleshooting
