San Marcos, Texas We manufacture quality magnets and are looking for exceptional individuals who want to learn, build, and contribute to the company’s foundation for years to come. What You’ll Be Doing
Assist the plating engineer/technician in daily operations and related tests to ensure high-quality coating and plating on magnet products. Help report maintenance issues to the manager/technician with detailed work orders and record data daily. Perform visual inspections of coated parts and coordinate with QC to check plating thickness and product quality. Assist in maintaining proper plating bath balance, including taking daily pH and conductivity readings. Maintain regular housekeeping following the 5S model. Manage storage of materials, supplies, reports, corrosion tests, data, and data analysis. What We Have To Offer

0–2 years’ experience and basic understanding of pretreatment and wet processes for coating and plating Knowledge of overhead hoists, fork trucks, hand tools, and rectifiers Ability to handle materials and chemicals safely with proper PPE Comfort with measurement equipment such as thermometers, pH meters, and measuring scopes/microscopes Preferably experience with wet processes for Zn, phosphate, Ni/Cu and epoxy Additional Requirements
Willingness to learn and conduct chemical titrations on plating baths under supervision Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently with minimal supervision Physical Requirements
Must pass a drug screening and medical physical; visual testing if applicable Able to move up to 50 lbs Manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately Willing to wear PPE such as N-95 masks, respirators, face shields, aprons, and FR coveralls Able to stand for long periods and work extended shifts as needed Capable of repetitive movements including sitting, squatting, and walking up/down stairs About Noveon Magnetics
