Responsibilities
Move components into place using jib boom, crane, conveyors, or manual lifting
Read and interpret blueprints to lay out, position, and align parts
Tack weld and clamp components in preparation for welding
Efficiently perform wire-feed welding on steel components
Ensure measurement accuracy and consistent weld quality
Perform routine equipment maintenance
Keep a clean, organized workspace
Maintain a strong safety mindset and prioritize safety in all work activities
Support Lean manufacturing and team-based improvements
Qualifications
Ability to pass a pre-employment welding test
Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator when welding stainless steel
Ability to rapidly and efficiently produce high-quality welded parts
Basic math and measuring skills
Strong physical ability — frequent lifting, bending, pushing (up to 50 lbs)
Comfortable working on ladders, in dump bodies, and on concrete
Capable of reading blueprints and using measuring tools
Willingness to rotate between job stations and assigned tasks as needed
Recent graduates accepted. Must have good attitude, basic welding skills, and willingness to learn.
Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety
Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers
Must be reliable and great attendance is a must
